Chased by Moonlight (Moonlight, #2) by Nancy Gideon

Image
Chased by Moonlight by Nancy Gideon My rating: 5 of 5 stars Book one was fantastic and book two did not disappoint at all. I couldn't put it down, any chance I got read I took it. We pick up were we left off in CeeCee and Max's relationship. Which is still a rather odd pairing, shifter mob boss and a human cop. I can't wait to see more of their tale unfold. We get more of Max's story in this one, which is rather interesting, and I am soooo looking forward to reading the rest of this series. View all my reviews

Sister by Rosamund Lupton

Sister by Rosamund Lupton My rating: 5 of 5 stars You know those books you read that love so much you just want to sit and read it in one sitting. But then there are those books that you love so much that you have to pause for, not because you you are questioning the book or because you think you love it but something is still holding you back. But because you DON'T want it to end. This was one of those book, I wanted to read it all in one swoop, but I couldn't because if I did it would be over and well I wasn't ready for it to be over. What a debut Rosamund Lupton, I am forever a fan, you will forever be an author I buy. Yes based on ONE book. But this one book pulled at so many emotions. I had chills, I cried many times (some in public), I smiled, I ached. I felt. I don't want to talk about the story of the book, because you will find out all of it when you read it, and you should read it. I can tell you, it's written so wonderfully well and it will make yo

The Unknown (A Novel) by Linda Pendleton

The Unknown (A Novel) by Linda Pendleton My rating: 1 of 5 stars Well now that's done. 1.5 Stars I don't like to give bad reviews, I REALLY don't. People put their time and energy in the writing of their books, so I don't like to sound mean. I was happy to be finished this book, for me it just never did it. For someone else they might highly enjoy it. The funny thing is I found the concept interesting, but how it was presented to me well, not to lie, bored me. I had to add more: I never connected with the characters, I didn't like them. I'm sorry your kids and others have been kidnapped, lets start looking at each with potential feelings. Lets toss some romance into the book, which just felt awkward and out of place, and stop calling her "kiddo" Sorry all end rant!! View all my reviews

The Angel Experiment by James Patterson

Image
The Angel Experiment by James Patterson My rating: 3 of 5 stars 3.5 Stars. The Angel Experiment, is a book about friends, friends who are the only family each other has. They look out for each other, and are constantly on the run from what is knows as erasers. Why they are on the run well, you see they are not what you would call normal humans. They are mutants, humans who have been genetically altered. Many years ago they escaped the lap, the school as they call it and have been on their own ever since. The only parent figure they had, is gone, assumed to be dead. So this wasn't the best book I've ever read, but it wasn't the worst. The story is interesting, and as it went on it got stranger and stranger. The ending kind of just happened, like when I got to the epilogue, I kinda stopped for a moment and went 'what I'm at the end?' The writing could have been better, and as I say this I know you're all thing, "wait, what? That's by James Patterso

Private Scandals by Nora Roberts

Image
Private Scandals by Nora Roberts My rating: 4 of 5 stars Deanna works in television her voice and face goes out and into our homes everyday, some get attached, obsessively attached. At first the notes seemed harmless, a fan, fan mail can be rather strange and out there. But then things start to happen, and the notes don't feel quite as harmless anymore. Obsession can be scary. Great book, not my first adventure with Nora Roberts, but it was my first romantic suspense by her. Definitely need to read more in this genre by her. View all my reviews

Dead, Undead, or Somewhere in Between (Rhiannon's Law #1) by J.A. Saare

Image
Dead, Undead, or Somewhere in Between by J.A. Saare My rating: 5 of 5 stars Rhiannon is great, she has this take no shit attitude. Which is her mask, her wall so to speak. She has a lot hidden things in her past, she's gone through so much pain. At first I wasn't a fan of how she treated and acted around Disco, but as the story went on things changed, her trust grew. Her lack of trust is understandable based on her past and well because hello vampire. Speaking of Disco, hello new book boyfriend. Loved this book, great start to what I hope will be a fantastic series. And the ending, wow. Soooo can't wait to read the next book. View all my reviews

A Prescription for Delirium (Van Helsing Organization #1) by Noree Cosper

Image
A Prescription for Delirium by Noree Cosper My rating: 4 of 5 stars What a fantastic fantastic book. Very dark and visual. I was completely engrossed in the story, the author has did a great job. Very well written. Gabriella is a demon hunter, and she can read the auras around not only people but places as well. She can see demons and apprehensions where others can't. She is cursed, she can't not die. She's been around for long long time, long enough to have promised to protect the family of the man she loved, the Van Helsings. The three remaining brothers are have their own special abilities. Together with help from others can she finally keep her promise and defeat the devil, and keep her mind at the same time. Is the second book wrote yet? Because I can't wait to get my hands on it. View all my reviews
