For me this book was kind of meh, I think that's why it took me forever to get through it.

Marissa has been cheated on by her boyfriend, so she dumps him and goes out to a music festival with her best friend Olivia to get over it. Resulting in a one night stand with Jack Storm lead singer of the band Jackel. Through out the years they have sent a handful of texts mostly saying "hi" but never seeing each other in person. Marissa never wanting to see him until a few years later when her son, his son needs medical care.

Blah blah they hook up again blah blah there is trust issues, blah blah he's loved her for years, blah blah the end.

So my over all opinion is meh with a side of blah. That being said it wasn't bad bad just not what I wanted for me at the time.

Still rusty in getting back into the swing of reading and well reviewing. I'm not trying to be mean or hateful with this review, wasn't what I needed at the time of reading I think. Because I see many high ratings and wonderful reviews for this book, so read those before making any opinion on this book.

Skinned by Robin Wasserman My rating: 3 of 5 stars May contain spoilers, cursing and ranting. When something bad happens to you, like an accident as what happened in this book to our main. It doesn't always mean death. If your brain is still working you can be downloaded into a new body. Some people if they have enough credit can have one specialty made if there is enough time for it. But the thing is you are no longer human. You can't bleed, eat, breath. You can feel pain to a degree only with extreme actions. Hot and cold mean nothing. You can feel slightly but it's not the same. You don't need to bathe, brush your teeth or use the bathroom. You're a machine that looks human and mentally you still are the same person but it's never the same. It was going so strong, so good. But then things started to stand out. Little things that annoyed me. Nothing major just certain wordings for example "eating lunch" but how is she exactly doing this??
